With the master introduction days behind us, ASAP starts looking for its final board member! In order to represent the master as good as possible, each year we ask a first year Applied Physics (AP) student to join our board. That could be you!
When you join ASAP, you will be participating in a fun, active board while also getting experienced in running your own organisation. You will connect with students from the AP master community and know what interests student at our faculty. Since it is a parttime board function it easier to know what is going on between your fellow students.
As a board member you will have a diverse set of tasks. Many of these are shared with your fellow board members: you will be involved in organizing many activities such as master drinks, career lectures and the master introduction days. In addition you will have function-specific task. We are looking for someone who wants to fulfil the external affairs function. This function embodies being in touch with the international student community in the master and looking what their interests are. In addition together with the treasurer you will be responsible that the contact with companies goes smoothly.
Altogether we are looking for someone who:
- Is enthusiastic to help master’s dispute ASAP grow and is motivated to contribute to this.
- Wants to keep in contact with the master student community from AP and stand up for their interests.
- Wants to get more experienced in company contact and wants to see their (professional) network grow.
- And most importantly: Someone who wants to be part of an enthousiastic parttime board!
