Lunch Lecture Nikhef

In this Lunch lecture Eric laenen firstly intoduce Nikhef the national (astro)particle instituut, and indicate in which experiments it participates, and what they are after. Here we also have in introduction by Eric: “I myself, however, am a theoretical particle physicist, and I will review what we now know about the fundamental building blocks of the universe and how they interact. But there is much we don’t know. I will discuss this and in particular how highly precise predictions for experiments at CERN’s Large Hadron Collider can be the portal to further discoveries that can answer these open questions.”

Hope to see you there next monday!
