College Tour Scattering Physics

Up next is the first edition of the College Tour: Scattering Physics, organized by the Applied Physics alumni associations of TU Eindhoven, University of Twente and TU Delft.
On the eve of June 14th 2021 from 7:30 PM till 9:30 PM, two Applied Physics alumni will be invited to share stories about their ‘scattered’ career path and the lessons they have learned.

The first guest speaker will be Dr. Ir. Henk Kivits, currently chairman of the University fund of the TU/e (UFe) and part of the board of the FoodforCare fund in Nijmegen. After his promotion, he became the founder of the large Intercai telecom company, was chairman of Holland Casino and Commissioner of the ‘Efteling’, which are only a small selection of his projects.

Our second guest speaker will be Prof. Dr. Paul Iske, who is currently the CFO and founder of the Institute of Brilliant Failures, where he aims to create understanding of the complexity of innovation and entrepreneurship. After his promotion in Physics, he also worked amongst many other things at Shell and ABN AMRO.
